TUDOR ROSE MANOR: Sleeps up to 22. 14-beds, 7+ bedrooms, 4-Baths. Just a 4-minute stroll to the waves of the sandy 7-mile Rio Del Mar beach with it's fun deli & fine restaurants & the Seacliff State Park Beach. There are also complimentary assortment of bicycles, hot tub, croquet yard & much more!

This English Tudor Manor is just the right setting for groups with 8 sleeping on the Ground floor, 10 on the Upper floor & 4 in the Carriage House for a total of up to 22. The baths have 2 with showers & 2 with tub/showers.The Ground floor has a nicely appointed kitchen with highly polished granite tiled counters & all new stainless steel appliances including a gas stove, oven, refrigerator & dishwasher. There is an oak cabinet with 4-large shelves for your groceries & also a large food locker for more food storage, just outside the back door. The dining room had 2-tables that seat 20 plus 3-counter stools.

The home has 2-phone lines that have Unlimited Local, National and International phone service to 43-countries.

The 1st Bedroom called the Rose Room, has 1-Queen and a Harry Potter closet for linens.

2nd Bedroom called the King Room, has 1-California King air-coiled bed.

The Living Room, with nice oak hardwood floors has 2-Queen Innerspring Futons near the large wood fireplace. There are lots of games & a large armoire with Cable TV/VCR/DVD & a Stereo Entertainment center.

Up the elegantly carpeted stairs is the Upper Level.

It has the 3rd Bedroom called the Wicker Room with 1-Queen bed & a Pack & Play crib/bed in the closet for a little one.

The 4th Bedroom, called the Twins Room has 2-Twin beds-one of which is a Sleep Number bed so if you ever wanted to find out what your number is, it is available to try.

The 5th bedroom or the Great Room (as it is the largest room in the Manor) also has oak hardwood floors. It has 2-Queens Innerspring Futons, a fireplace & a 36 High-Def Flat-Screen Cable TV with more free DVD & VHS videos. There is also a DSL Broadband computer on a desk with a flat-screen monitor & a color copier/fax for your use. You can also use the Wireless connection in any room of the home, if you also bring a laptop. There are 2-folding adult-sized, rollaway Twin beds for guests that prefer not to share a bed. Most of the beds have electric heating blankets & when it is warm, both the Upper Level & Carriage house have very effective air conditioning units.

The 6th bedroom is called the Sunshine Room, and it has 1-Queen bed. It also has a private deck with a table, 4-chairs & an umbrella. There is a 2nd fully-equipped smaller kitchen adjacent to it, with a electric stove, microwave, coffee-maker & a refrigerator. There is a stackable laundry (1 of 3) is located in a small closet off the kitchen.

The 7th bedroom is in the detached Carriage House (about 15 steps from the back door.) It has 1-Calif King Bed, a twin size day bed (for someone under 5') & a sofa. There is also a Cable TV/VCR, stereo w/CD & tapes. There is also a small refrigerator and a coffee maker there. This area is often delightfully claimed by the teenagers in the group as their special clubhouse. The 3rd full bathroom with an unlimited hot water shower is adjoining the upstairs carriage house bedroom area.

The Tudor sits on a 7,000 sq ft yard that has a small but fun hot tub, a large croquet lawn in front, several shady oak trees, flowers, a hammock suspended between 2 of the Oak trees, 4-picnic tables, & lots of extra chairs. There is both a gas & charcoal BBQ. The outside shed has 10+ bicycles for riding to the Park, 3-croquet sets & a set of horseshoes for fun in the front yard.

The 4th bathroom with its fun round shower & unlimited hot water has an outside entrance so it's easy to use from the yard. There is also a hot & cold outside shower for washing off the sand after the beach fun. There is a short ramp that can be installed at the back door for folks who are not comfortable with walking up stairs & the first floor has a bathroom that most handicapped folks can utilize, though this house it NOT formally rated as handicapped accessible.

The Driveway can hold up to 5-cars and 1 in front of the Tudor. There are no permits required on this street, but please park extra cars down Bennett Rd so the Tudors neighbors can park their cars in front of homes that do not have driveways.

This Manor was built in 1922 for a San Jose doctor & his large family as their beach home. It is in a large home neighborhood.
