BUCKS BEACH BUNGALOW: This Vacation Rental Home is cozy and freshly remodeled. This 1920s garden-style Bungalow is just 7-doors from the first of several nearby beaches. Small views of ocean from front deck where you can watch the sailboat float by.

It's full of laid-back luxury, like fluffy bathrobes to wear to the hot tub, and it features a Queen Murphy bed with a memory foam top in the bedroom area, a Queen innerspring futon in the Living Room area, and 2-adult-sized padded twin-size cots available to set up in front of the fireplace (or you can use the aero beds) for a maximum of 6-guests with 2 full bathrooms.

Enjoy the private backyard $10,000 hot tub with lighted waterfall and 6-different massage jets areas, a foosball table and a stainless-steel BBQ. The Bungalow's fireplace comes with FREE firewood for the firestove. There is also Wireless DSL Internet access, automated Shiatsu-Massage chair and Cable TV. You will also find 100s of VCR tapes and DVD disks for movie watching as well as On Demand movies that are free on the Cable channel #1 and the movie starts as soon as you choose it!

This is an open-architecture style home, so the cook in the kitchen can talk with those in the other areas. Each sleeping areas has blue-velvet curtain to close the area off for privacy. There is only one door, and it's on the bathroom.

There are 2-private off-street parking spaces which are accessed from the back alley and one on-street parking space in front of the Bungalow. This quiet street does not require parking permits. There are also 15 restaurants within a short walking or biking distance.

Use our 6+ bikes to ride 10-minutes to the South, to the Village of Capitola with its large Beach, complete with volleyball courts, seaside restaurants, and fun shops. About 20-min bike ride to the North is the world-famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the West Coast's longest remaining wooden roller coaster and FREE world-class entertainers on Friday nights during the summer.

This Bungalow is very Pet Friendly with a 6-high fenced in-backyard and an outdoor shower for after beach sessions. For surfing enthusiasts, Bucks Beach Bungalow is in the Pleasure Point area, which is a short walk some of the worlds premier surf breaks (including Pleasure Point and The Hook.) There are an assortment of surfboards, boogie boards and some wetsuits in the blue vinyl containers under the stairs to the separate storage building in back for your enjoyment. There is also a storage building at the back of the yard that is occasionally accessed from the alley, but no one will be in your yard and you have complete privacy.

As of 5/31/06 Handicapped info for BBB =The Semi-Handicapped Accessiblity details are as follows: Parking available without permit in front of home. Cars must be parked inside the white line on the street, which is done by going over the 3 curb onto the small private sidewalk in front of the deck to avoid a parking ticket.
Two small cars can be parked in front or one large one. There is an 8' ramp into back door which is the closest door to the cement parking area in back. In order to conform to handicapped code this ramp should be 30' long, which is not possible in the yard. So the ramp is shorter and rather steep as it rises 30 in 8'. Most wheelchairs will need a strong person to help go up or down the ramp. There is a smooth cement path from parking to back door which is 29/30 wide.
Cement Patio with Gas BBQ, Foosball table and Outdoor shower are all accessible. The hot tub is not accessible as it has 3-stairs up to get into the Tub. The back door is 31 wide and the door to the bathroom is 28-1/2 wide. The toilet is next to the door and there is a clear space of 41x 42 next to it. The shower has a hand-held shower head and the whole room is tiled, and there is a large shower curtain which is easy to get by. Also consider using the outdoor shower which is very private. There are handicapped rails on both inside and outside of shower and next to toilet. The outside deck has one short 6 step down from the home. The 8' ramp could be moved to access the deck as it folds to 4'x14 and weights about 50 lbs.
